Nurses, Health Care Assistants & Phlebotomists
The Improving Access Service (IAS) is putting plans in place to support Primary Care in returning to ‘business as usual’ at this stage of the Covid-19 pandemic.
As part of this support plan we are initially looking to provide increased capacity for undertaking cervical smears – one area where there is a significant backlog. We also anticipate there will be an increase in demand for phlebotomy, diabetic foot checks and hypertension management.
In response to this we will be providing increased capacity within IAS and are looking for Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Phlebotomists to join our workforce.
If you would like to contribute to the Primary Care COVID-19 Pandemic response and are interested in doing some extra work we want to hear from you.
Mon – Fri, 18:30-20:30
How to apply:
To apply to join the IAS team, head over to our Workforce Tool, click the Sign Up button and select your profession.
Successful applicants will receive a full service and site induction and be provided with full training on PPE and infection control.
We look forward to welcoming you to our service.
